AIGA is a professional organization was founded to be a place where design students and professionals could turn first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research, and advance education and ethical practice. The president of the student chapter of AIGA Greenville College should be leading the student group in planning the group’s participation in conferences, workshops, entering national contests, networking events, placing their portfolios on the AIGA website. On campus the AIGA Greenville College president should be leading the student group in hosting social events, going on field trips, engaging in volunteer activities relating to digital media, facilitating contests, digital media exhibitions, and portfolio reviews.
