CREATING A BRUSH

1. Format your file

When creating your document in Photoshop it is important to set the document correctly:

File>new>3000 pixels by 2000 pixels and 300 resolution

Step 2: Create your brush

Now that your document is setup correctly, design your brush by creating a desired shape using the brush tool.

NOTICE: The larger you make your initial brush shape, the larger the final brush will be. Likewise, the smaller you make your brush shape, the smaller the final brush shall be.

Using the rectangular marquee tool select your brush design .

Once your brush design is selected click:

edit>define brush presets

Name your brush.

Now locate the brush you have created in the “brush preset picker” located at the top menu.

Step 3: Draw

Select your brush and draw!
