Movie Summaries and Thoughts
There is no need for beating around the bush. I will spoil crucial aspects of each of these movies. So heed my warning.
3 out of 5 & I might watch it again.
This is the story of two brothers who both farm Rams. They live on the same property yet refuse to speak a word. Their distain for each other becomes evident within the first minute of the film. You can feel the tension continue to rise as one brother loses to another the other in a Ram competition. When a deadly ram disease comes to their community, the brothers, along with every other ram farmer in the area is forced to kill off their livestock. While both of the brothers struggle to give up their one love, they come together after all other options are exhausted, to save their Rams. The movie ends in direct contrast with how it begins. Both of the brothers are huddled together in a vulnerable state to keep alive despite all of their differences. The entire movie is simply a building point until they break their feud.
Bring a couple extra layers and blankets while watching. The film is cold, literally and symbolically as every character struggles.

Why is based on a true story of a lawyer caught in the middle of a corrupt governmental case. Young, ambitions, honorable and just this young man discovers that there is no evidence for a legitimate case. He attempts to present the truth and is forced out of his firm. Seeing everything he has ever worked for flash in front of his eyes and being placed in dangerous measures, he questions the point of his existence. He is without much hope.
A completely frustrating character, Cristian Panduru struggles to communicate clearly the situation in an effective manner. He harbors the situation which allows him to remain as the victim until the point of death.
I would watch this again.
A darling love story developed out of contemplating death. The film follows a man who has not been able to feel since his fathers death. After this mothers death, he has nothing left to live for despite his great wealth. He finds a travel agency that can help him reach his ultimate destination. In pursuing his death, he meets a girl who acts as if she is in a similar situation. They develop a relationship as he learns through their simple interaction, how to live and enjoy life again. With her he laughs and becomes angry, two feelings he was unable to understand perviously.
I would recommend this film to anyone. It has a little suspense, a little romance and a little surprise.
I would not watch this again.
An American film with familiar actors that is unoriginal in its approach to christianity. The initial character development and questioning of life after death is expressed well within James Franco’s Character. An gay activists who advocates for young gay American’s is tormented by his parents death. He loves them more then he loves being gay. His desire to be with them after he dies, he becomes a christian, leaving his homosexual lifestyle behind.
The one area in which the film lacks is the information instrumental in his conversion. The film lacks character development and jumps between advocating for gays to advocating against gays.
What is interesting about this story is that the main character, Michael Glatze is still alive. Michael and his wife live in La Grange, Wyoming where he works as a pastor. There is not many comments or articles on the real Michael Glatze’s opinion of the film and if it is accurate.
I believe that there should be.
